These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of gaming.whatelselabs.com (the “Site”), operated by What Else Labs as What Else Labs Gaming. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
01 The Site
The Site provides information about our studio and the games we are making. Content is provided for general information, may change as development changes, and does not constitute a promise that any feature, title or release date will ship as described.
02 Intellectual property
The content of the Site — text, design, logos, artwork, screenshots, trailers and game names — belongs to us or our licensors. You may share and quote it for personal, editorial or coverage purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce, modify or commercially exploit it otherwise without our permission.
03 Streaming & video
You are welcome to stream, record and monetise video of our games on the usual platforms, including with commentary. We only ask that you don’t present the work as your own, and don’t use it in anything hateful or illegal. If you need something in writing for a partner or network, email us.
04 Feedback & ideas
If you send us suggestions, bug reports or ideas, we may use them to improve our games without obligation or payment, and without treating them as confidential. Please don’t send us anything you consider secret or that you don’t have the right to share.
05 Prohibited conduct
- Interfering with the operation or security of the Site.
- Unauthorised access, scraping at scale, or probing of the Site or related infrastructure.
- Using the Site in violation of laws or public order and morals.
- Impersonating us or misrepresenting an affiliation with us.
06 No warranty
We take care to keep the Site accurate and available, but we make no warranty — express or implied — that it is error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. Information on the Site may be changed or removed without notice.
07 Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under Japanese law, including liability arising from our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
08 External links
The Site may link to external sites, such as storefronts and social platforms. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or handling of personal information.
09 Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms where reasonable, in accordance with Article 548-4 of the Civil Code of Japan (standard terms of contract). The amended Terms take effect when published on this page with an updated date.
10 Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the district court having jurisdiction over the location of our principal place of business in Japan.
